Painting PAckages

Currently accepting limited commissions

My books are now open for Christmas commissions! Original Watercolor Paintings are the perfect gift for someone who is difficult to shop for.

I am accepting deposits to hold spots in my calendar for watercolor paintings that will be completed and delivered in time to be the perfect, unique gift this Holiday Season. Currently, I have 5 openings (1 has already been booked!) and once those are filled, I won't be opening my calendar for any custom paintings until January. Please fill out my inquiry form below if you would like a custom watercolor painting.

Each commissioned watercolor is created with love. I use your photographs as reference for your painting.

If you would like a quote on a custom size, please let me know! Below are base prices for each size, to get a more accurate price, please fill out my form below.

The above pricing are starting costs. The final price of your commissioned watercolor depends on how detailed it will be. For example, a painting of your dog (or cat) is more simple than a complex portrait of your horse with western saddle, lariat, and bridle.

Before I start any commissions, I require a $50 non-refundable deposit. Once that is received, I start work on your painting! Before I even begin painting, I send you a pencil sketch to make sure for your approval before paint touches the paper. I will take in-progress photos of your painting, because who wouldn't like to see how it develops?!?! I will work with you for any payment plans, and once all payment is received, I will mail your painting to you (I'll definitely send you a final image for approval before shipping) and you will receive a tracking number and your special package will require a signature for delivery. Please allow 6 - 8 weeks for the completion of your commission; they take time because they are ... well ... a work of art!

The photo(s) you supply also play a factor into the quality of the final painting. The best photos are clear, non-flash, and true to color. Actually, the more photographs you send me, the better idea I have of the personality of your pet and the better the painting will portray them.

And if you're wondering if I will paint a pet who has passed on ... ABSOLUTELY! I find it very rewarding to create something that you can help you remember your beloved fur baby. There have been many times that the collector has come to tears because the watercolor brings back so many memories.

Testimonials

“Elizabeth is very talented and captured my mare perfectly. She was even able to paint her in show tack. She kept me informed of her progress and completed the project on time. I'm so happy, I've ordered another painting for my daughter.” - Sue

We absolutely love having our one of a kind portrait of our dogs hanging in our living room. When I sit down to relax with a glass of wine at the end of a busy day I love looking down at my dogs at my feet, then looking up and seeing my dogs above my fire place. I will certainly be contacting Elizabeth if I ever need another piece done." ~ Natalie & Tom
