Meet, Freya Maria. She is one of the cutest "little" Drum Horse fillies you'll meet .... well, there might be others, but Freya will still be in the top 10. What I love about her and her dam, Derby, is that they have a special connection. Between being shy and hiding behind her mum and coming over when I'm not looking to snuff at me, she boops her soft muzzle to her mom's nose. Plus, this particular evening the sunset was amazing, giving a bright, yet soft golden glow.

This is little Electra. She is a bit of a spitfire girl, literally running in circles around her mom. Her dam, April, is quite affectionate to her little filly, often licking and grooming her while checking in between the frolics. In the last image of Electra romping, you can see the little tiny lightning bolt above her left eye.
Sometimes everything seems like a blur on your wedding day and all you really want to do is celebrate with your friends and family who have joined you for the day. And the last thing you want to do is to sneak away from photos or the location of your wedding isn't exactly what you had in mind for amazing sunset photos. Well, I can help you out with a Day After Session! Laura and Brandon had a very busy wedding day, so we did a Day After Session at golden hour in a field of horses out near Portland, Oregon. We treated this session as a stylized bridal shoot with hiring a coordinator, florist and hair and makeup artist to achieve all the beauty.
