Amber and Collin's wedding plans changed one week before their wedding day because their venue at the Oregon Coast closed unexpectedly, and they had to replan everything within a few days and I think they did a fabulous job from the DJ, Caterer, and florals, and with a lot of help from close friends and family. I was so excited for their wedding day and even more excited that they wanted me to travel the four hours (one way) to their wedding in Richland, Washington at a friend's house.  I loved so many of the well thought out details from the Jenga pieces to sign, custom tumblers, necklaces gifted to the daughters, notes to each other, and especially the first look with the kids after the first look with each other! I forgot to mention, that between Amber and Collin, there were three daughters and three sons, just like the Brady Bunch! ... and during the sand ceremony, the Brady Bunch theme song was played, I loved it!

It was two days before Teresa and Keith's destination wedding in Lincoln City when their venue closed due to COVID. They had family and friends traveling from all over the US to celebrate with them. What took a year to plan all the details was condensed into a couple of hours to replan their wedding day.  It was a foggy day at the coast, with the ocean barely in sight, but being surrounded by loved ones made the whirlwind day full of love and joy during the wedding of Teresa and Keith.
It was the day before Whitney and Brian's wedding when I had an incoming call from Whitney. She was calling to tell me that their wedding venue had just closed for two weeks. It was heartbreaking, but they had a back up plan!  As I was making my way to the Oregon Coast, at the final bend, a thick marine layer was in sight. The heavy fog really made this wedding a day to remember.
It's summer and that means that there's lots of flowers in bloom and the ones that remind me of growing up in the country are Queen Anne's Lace and Bachelor Buttons. And I found out that Alexandria has those same memories with those flowers, too! Which meant that I had to find a field of those flowers for her summer portrait session.  It was a beautiful, cloudy summer morning and we went off on a photo adventure to capture some headshots and fun photos. I do have to say that we did have fun in the fields and paths lined with the flowers. And the best part was that even with the bees busy with their work in all the flowers, that neither of us had any problems with getting stung.
