It was the day before Whitney and Brian's wedding when I had an incoming call from Whitney. She was calling to tell me that their wedding venue had just closed for two weeks. It was heartbreaking, but they had a back up plan! As I was making my way to the Oregon Coast, at the final bend, a thick marine layer was in sight. The heavy fog really made this wedding a day to remember. The ceremony sight was in a cloud with the sounds of the invisible ocean pounding on the wet sand. Brian waited nervously to see his bride. But his real first look was seeing his young daughter in her fluffy white flower girl dress. It was a precious moment as she called for her daddy who traveled to Wisconsin to pick her up (with COVID in full force again) so that she could be with him on his special day. The ceremony was simple and beautiful. Both Brian and Whitney had ceremonial feathers and Brian had a special medallion, which he proudly wore during the ceremony. And at the reception, you'll see the special shawl that was made for Whitney to celebrate her wedding day. You can see Whitney and Brian's engagement photos here!
