It was a fantastic evening up at Baskett Slough for Ceci and Corey's engagement photo session. The smoke from the recent fires were long gone and we already had some rain. And thankfully, the sun came out for their session. Ceci and Corey brought their son, Oliver, and we all had the best time exploring the trail, pausing to smile, and enjoying all of the views. I hope you enjoy seeing these highlights from this session! I had so much fun capturing this family's happiness and I can't wait to capture all of their memories on their wedding day in 2021!

Dripping trees from fresh rain, sunflowers and dahlias, and loved ones in a backyard garden was the setting of the ceremony of Abby and Max saying "I do." "At last," was what everyone was thinking on their wedding day, because this was the third date. Coronavirus made them change their original date and plans and the two weeks ago, the smoke from all the fires was too much and too hazardous for an outdoor, backyard wedding. The rain held off during their ceremony and only picked up when everyone was safe under shelter. It was a true Oregonian wedding with the smells of fresh rain and earth. I hope you enjoy all of my favorites of their wedding day and especially scroll to the bottom, because there is a little surprise!
They say the third time is the charm, and in a way it's true for this wedding. Kassandra and Josh had their wedding plan last year and then replanned as a destination wedding to Hawaii. Then Coronavirus happened and all traveling went out the window. This backyard wedding in the small community of Siletz, Oregon was the third time they planned their wedding and I might be a little biased to say that it was beautiful. They said vows under a flowered arch overlooking the Siletz River with their close family and friends witnessing all the laughs and tears. Kassandra started her vows not to her groom, but to Josh's daughters, telling them how much they mean to her and how she is going to enjoy being part of their family. As you take a look at the first photo of their kiss, take a peek to the left and you can see part of the youngest daughter's reaction and it's priceless!
