Fall is the perfect time of year for family photos, because the colors are changing and there's time to print photos to add to Christmas cards. This family was a real delight with the two big brothers goofing off (as brothers tend to do) and helping with the littlest brother who was only a couple months old. If you can't tell, I love capturing the special moments of siblings, parents, and the entire family interacting with one another.

Congratulations, you're a mom or dad to a tiny human and they'll never be this tiny again. It's hard to imagine how quickly they grow and photographs of your wee babe will be treasured and saved to be shared at all the family functions, especially for their wedding! *wink, wink* This blog post is to help prepare you for your little one's time in the spotlight. I hope you find some helpful tips that will reassure and calm you before your baby's photo session.
I loved everything about this session, from it being a birthday present for the mama from her sisters, to how this little girl stared up at the trees. I believe that every mama needs to have photos with their baby, because this is the only time they will ever be this tiny. This little girl was only 6 weeks old and already holding her head up! Time with your newborn is so precious and I was thrilled to be capturing these moments for this new little family. The camas flowers in this Salem park was the perfect backdrop for this mama and newborn photo session.
First came love, then came marriage, and now there's a baby girl in the baby carriage. Say "hello" to baby Avery! She's a big girl who is a joy to this little family. I love capturing moments this precious and I've been a photographer for this couple since they first met. Avery is so very loved, like most babies, and she's going to grow up to be one of the cutest babies with two dogs in tow. She got to show off her "coming home" outfit, the cutest pair of tiny overalls, and she even opened her eyes for photos. She is notorious for sleeping most of the day and hardly opening her eyes for any visitors, even her doctor!
It's not everyday that I have the honor to photographer someone so tiny. Meet little Charlotte. Her mommy and daddy love her so much and so does her doggie, Lucy. Charlotte was only 11 days old when I came to her home on a chilly November day to document the early days of her life. It's so hard to believe that we were all this little at one point or sometimes even smaller!
