Tomorrow will be the start of my 30 Paintings in 30 Days project. But what does that mean? Well, my goal is to start and finish a painting in the same day, one painting a day or two paintings in one day if I know I'll be too busy on a particular day. Which means by March 2 I'll have created 30 paintings.
The last time I did something like this was in March 2014. I had certain parameters: one painting a day from photos followers/fans submitted on social media and the watercolor paintings were only 4 inches square. This time I would like to continue with using images submitted by followers/fans on social media. I want to use this project to help hone in my "sketchy style" and not have to be constrained by only 4 inches square, so I can choose whatever size I think the painting should be. If you are reading this and it's within the 30 days time frame and want to submit an image, the rules and information on how to do that is right here. And if you want to follow along with my journey, then you can sign up for updates every 5 days right here. Maybe next I'll do a 30 in 30 with photography. ;-)
