I'm just in love with these photos of Goldie, who is an off the track Appendix (Quarter Horse and Thoroughbred) mare turned barrel racer, and her owner, Alyssa. The little field behind her barn was just perfect for our photo session. I'm excited to share with you some of my favorite images from this equine photo shoot. One of my favorite parts about this session was that the foliage is starting to change from summer to fall. The hints of red and gold with the greens really helped with making Goldie and Alyssa pop. It's always fun to see different outfits, but it's also fun to see all the different tack! Check out Goldie's woolly breast collar with conchos and matching concho hackamore. And we can't overlook Alyssa's leopard print dress matches Goldie's browband on her bridle! I hope you enjoyed seeing these images I captured of the bond between a young woman and her horse. They are just so cute together and I just loved the time I spent with them out in Boring, Oregon.
