Carly and Jeff tied the knot! How it happened wasn't the original plan, but they did keep their original wedding date. They said their "I Do's" at the home of a family friend, and in the company of family and close friends. Coronas, Ciders, and Mikes were drank; chicken wings smothered in BBQ sauce were eaten; and tears were shed. I was so happy that I was chosen to photograph and capture their wedding day! Jeff got ready at a friend's house about 10 minutes away from the ceremony site, while Carly was getting ready on location and was very careful with keeping away from any windows or doors so that her groom couldn't have a chance seeing her before walking down the aisle. The first look for Carly's dad was so touching. I wanted to cry, too! There were so many personal touches for grandparents who weren't there and a good friend. And there was a little extra, special dance. Jeff danced with his mother-in-law, Whitney, after all the traditional dances were complete. I loved how Carly and her dad, Frank, watched the two of them have their special dance. PS: Whitney had no idea about it! Also, I did ask and both the mothers color coordinated their dresses and I thought that it was the cutest! Congratulations to Carly and Jeff!
