This morning I headed out to Wallace Marine Park in West Salem for a Senior Session with Ethan. We got to explore the gravel bar just north of the old Union Railroad Bridge, which is now a footpath bridge. I pulled out all of my puny jokes so that Ethan would crack a smile, but for over half of them he was shaking his head because they were so bad! Hahaha! While exploring, we found a log to sit upon, gravel (of course), and even a little patch of sunflowers. After looking around below, we ventured up onto the bridge and we had it all to ourselves just long enough to capture some great portraits! I think the foot traffic was especially light because it was starting to mist on us. But that didn't dampen our spirits; we went over to Riverfront Park and then moseyed into downtown Salem for some urban shots. These are just a couple of my favorites from our session. It was the perfect, gray Oregon morning for Ethan's senior session and even though he was a reserved young man, I know I got a couple shy smiles from him.
