Meet & Draw Animals: Goats & Chickens

Come out to a farm in Brooks, Oregon to meet a family of goats and a flock of chickens.

You will get hands on with these classic farm animals. Watch how they move, interact with their buddies, and different personalities. There's Marshmallow (pictured) the daddy, three mamas: Diana, Kate, and Storm, and the crop of this years babies: Johnny Jump Up, Pansy, Violet, Daffodil, Nightshade, and Dandelion. Plus, there's a flock of Barred Plymouth Rock (pictured), Americana, and Rhode Island Red chickens, who will be happy to pose for a handful of food.

I will be leading you through my process on breaking these critter's anatomy into basic shapes while I'm sketching our live models. There will be many opportunities to photograph these models for studio/at home drawings and paintings.
