2020 has been quite the year, amiright?!?!?! A lot of plans have changed for me, as I'm sure they have for you. I've been sitting at home lately; staying in with my daughter who recently turned one year, while my husband goes to work in a warehouse for a major grocery store. Even though I've been home raising my daughter, I've been busy.

ILLUSTRATED A BOOK
One of the projects I was working on was creating illustrations and doing the book layout design work for a cowboy poetry book! I've always wanted to illustrate a book and now I have! Which leads me to my next dream: illustrating and creating coloring books!

DESIGNED WINE LABELS
​In January I entered a wine label design competition. I entered the same contest eight years ago when it was only open students of Oregon College of Art and Craft, which has recently closed, thus this year it was open to the public. With the blind judging, my design was chosen as the winning entry! I created individual designs for Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, and Rosé.

WATERCOLORS AT ELSINORE GALLERY
A collection of my framed watercolors is on display for Elsinore Gallery this month. They have actually been there since pre-coronavirus. They are still "hanging out" and Elsinore Gallery is open their regular hours for onesies and twosies groups. FOR FUNSIES
I've been knitting for about two years and I had finished my first sweater in March, the January Gansey. And then of course I had to go out and get more yarn for my next sweater. So this was my quarantine sweater and I finished the Stowaway Chevron Pullover. And this week I started my third sweater, Soundtrack. Plus, I already have a pattern picked out for knitting my daughter;'s first sweater. You could say that I'm enjoying my new hobby.
